I am an Assistant Professor of Mathematics at Marian University. I received my BS in Mathematics in 2003 and my PhD in Industrial and Applied Mathematics in 2009, both from the University of Louisville. I joined the School of Mathematics and Science at Marian University in 2009. My primary research interests are in discrete mathematics, particularly graph theory. Since joining Marian, I have become interested in mathematical applications to biology and chemistry through interactions with my colleagues and a mathematical biology workshop I attended in the summer of 2010.
I joined the Institute for Green and Sustainable Science in the summer of 2011. My role in the IGSS Summer Program is to assist in mathematical and computational challenges faced in the study of sustainability.
