I am an Associate Professor of Chemistry at Marian University, where my research interests center on green organic chemistry. I received my BS in Chemistry and Biology from Marian College in 1997, and my PhD in Chemistry from Purdue University in 2003. Over the past few years my undergraduate research group has been working on the development of a set of green laboratory exercises, and more recently we have generated modified versions of these suitable for use in high schools.

I am the Director of the Institute for Green and Sustainable Science, within which my main focus is on the green chemistry component of the program.
